Cobb County Police Department staff will host a National Night Out activity 5-9 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Jim Miller Park. This event is part of the continued effort to build and strengthen public safety personnel's relationships with the community they serve.
Admission is FREE and everyone is invited to enjoy an evening of food, fun and entertainment.
There will be public safety demonstrations by the Cobb police and fire departments, inflatable and water activities for children, food trucks and live music.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes camaraderie to ensure our neighborhoods are safer, more caring places to live.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
