Planning to ignite fireworks in Cobb Co. next week for the Fourth of July holiday?
Here's what the Cobb Fire Marshall says about when you can:
Regarding the noise produced by the fireworks; the county noise ordinance was updated earlier this year to prohibit the discharge of consumer fireworks after 9:00 p.m.
The only exceptions to this are January 1, the last Saturday and Sunday in May, July 3, July 4, the first Monday in September, and December 31 of each year.
On these dates, consumer fireworks may be discharged until midnight, except on New Year’s Eve, where they may be discharged until 1:00 a.m.
